Could you pass on my thanks to the staff who looked after us so well at the event. I did not think the Elf would be there but she was and a great Elf she was also my granddaughter fell in love with her and after being a little apprehensive at first my grandson did speak with her. We had a great time time and the food was excellent.

The team at Mercure, Swansea, looked after us so well in the celebration of my Mum’s life that we held there. The brasserie was perfect for the occasion, and the afternoon tea was amazing, everyone commented on how delicious it all was, how beautifully presented and the options the chef had included for vegetarian and gluten-free guests were excellent. Each member of the team was helpful, professional and really kind especially when things did not go as smoothly as planned from my side – they couldn’t have been more accommodating and I’m incredibly grateful for their help in making the occasion as stress-free as possible, despite the extra effort it caused them. They made a difficult day into a positive celebration – thank you! 

The event was a Christmas Lunch for members of the Historical Association, Swansea Branch. The Christmas Lunch was excellent. It’s so nice to have a real turkey rather than turkey roll which seems usual these days. All the staff were, as always, very friendly, polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, which is the same comment as I would make after each visit I have there. The booking procedure, which was done centrally, was also made very easy from the word go and we got exactly what we wanted with no exceptions. The hotel is situated in pleasant surroundings with ample free parking on the outskirts of Swansea so it is easy to find it and get there. I have no reservations about recommending the Mercure Hotel in Swansea. Thank you, Mercure, for another wonderful experience.

I want to take this opportunity to give an enormous Thank You to Rachel Wood (M&E Hub Executive) for all your help and support in organising our family’s surprise 70th Birthday Party for my mum. You clearly went above and beyond to make sure absolutely everything was prepared exactly as we wanted, family were travelling from all over the UK and they were so pleased to be able to relax in the rooms you had allocated for us before our surprise party. The party buffet was outstanding and venue was brilliant for us to celebrate and enjoy a fabulous evening, we have cherished memories that will stay with us forever. All the staff at Swansea Mercure were fantastic in accommodating us throughout our entire stay and the breakfast buffet was a 10/10. Thank you so much Rachel you really are an amazing event organiser and an absolute credit to the Mercure hotels. 

Excellent experience in this hotel as we visited last Friday for a function, the service was very good and friendly. The food was amazing, tasty and very well presented, highly recommend this place. It’s very well maintained and tidy.  

I recently held our first Cross Authority Development Day which included great facilities to run workshops, large discussions and even an afternoon of team building games. The facilities were bang on, as was the communication with the events team, and everyone really enjoyed the food and snacks provided throughout the day. I would certainly host another conference here. 

We had our daughters reception for her christening at Mercure Hotel. They were absolutely amazing. Amy ensured all our guests were happy and they venue was amazing.

First thing was the booking excellent help from Rachel Wood done the late booking got us a very nice accessible room check in was also very good the rooms was really nice with a walk-in shower wet room. The evening then started with a four course meal very well served and excellent meal the night also included a DJ who did his best to get everyone involved. By the stroke of midnight everyone was enjoying the party spirit we will be looking for more events at this hotel breakfast was also very good self-service but plenty of choice. 

Stayed over the weekend for my daughter’s wedding party. The team are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely food and clean rooms. Would like to give a special mention to Kelly Westwood, Sarah, Tom and Kelly Ward who went above and beyond to make sure my daughter, her husband and guests had a fantastic evening. Well done to an amazing team! 

We had our wedding party here last night and it was absolutely amazing thank you so much! Kelly, Andrea, Chloe and the rest of the staff were incredible and couldn’t do enough for us. Everything went so smoothly and no detail was overlooked, we had so many compliments! We also stayed the night and our room was fantastic and breakfast was lovely and such good value for money! 

We went to a family wedding in the Lakeside suite. On arrival there was a very friendly and professional member of staff greeting the guests with canapés and a choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, and ushered guests into the function area. Everything was impeccable the decor, the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff was perfect. The food was wonderful with variety of dietary requirements and children’s menu catered for alongside the amazing buffet on offer. The night went off without a single hitch. Nothing was too much for the wonderful bar and restaurant staff. I would definitely recommend the Mercure for a party/ function. We didn’t stay in the rooms as we are local to the area, but have family who did, and they said service and standards were very high.

Attended last night for a wedding party, the buffet food was amazing, everything was set up beautifully and the staff were very helpful. The rooms and hotel was very clean. Will definitely book again.

Attended the Mercure Swansea for a private family function. The venue was lovely. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. Will definitely go back.

We used the Mercure for a wake recently. There was a very good selection for the buffet and the food was excellent and plentiful. Everything was well organised, the staff were helpful but unobtrusive. I would certainly recommend them for a private function.

Just had my wedding in the hotel and all I can say is FANTASTIC the staff were brilliant and were very friendly. Thank you for making our day perfect. Thank you to Karen, Andrea, Kelly Westwood, Kelly Ward and Tom.

We booked a private conference room for my brothers 21st birthday party, from book with Rachel the Events Manager to the service on the day managed by Amy. Everything was fantastic thank you. The food was great.
